The Truth About Fat Loss Drugs

Fat loss drugs are becoming more common, but they are not a replacement for consistent nutrition and training. Many people turn to them thinking they are a shortcut, but science tells a different story.

What They Actually Do

  • Suppress appetite, but don’t teach sustainable habits

  • May cause temporary fat loss, but results often reverse once stopped

  • Can lead to muscle loss if diet and training are neglected

  • Can have severe side effects

  • Down regulate metabolism due to less muscle.

Strength and nutrition structure is still required. Without it, fat loss drugs are a temporary fix, not a long-term solution.

My personal training clients in Marylebone achieve better, lasting results by focusing on sustainable habits first: consistent strength training, proper nutrition, and daily movement. Fat loss becomes a lifestyle, not a prescription.
